FishOn Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 12, 2026
FishOn helps anglers capture catch moments, identify fish from selected frames, unlock a personal pokedex, and generate shareable battle cards.
Data We Process
- Sign in with Apple account identifier and, when provided by Apple, email and name.
- Selected catch frames uploaded for fish identification and correction.
- Catch records that you create, including optional length and weight values.
- Generated battle-card images and related media URLs.
Camera, Microphone, Speech, and Photos
Camera, microphone, speech recognition, and photo-library access are requested only for the fishing workflow you start in the app. Merged catch videos are saved to your Photos library. The MVP backend stores selected frames, not continuous recordings.
Location
FishOn does not publish precise fishing locations in the current MVP. Future map features must include privacy controls such as fuzzing, delayed publication, and minimum-sample aggregation before showing fishing activity.
Sharing and Tracking
FishOn does not sell personal data and does not use third-party advertising tracking. Battle cards are shareable only when you choose to share them.
Retention and Deletion
Uploaded frames, catch records, and generated cards are retained to provide the app's pokedex and battle-card features. You can request removal of your account data through the app support page.
Contact
For privacy or data-deletion requests, use the support instructions at FishOn Support.
